For Doaa and her husband, paying for essentials was difficult on his income. With the help of CEOSS poultry project she was able to generate a second income to help support her family. Though she was initially worried that she knew nothing about starting or managing a business, the organization provided her with trainings and guidance along with the chicks. She was able to raise her first batch of chicks with the knowledge she gained from CEOSS and sold her chickens at a good profit.

With the money she earned from her first batch of chicks, Doaa was able to pay her children’s school expenses, address household needs, and reinvest into the project. Doaa was able to expand her farm and raise more chicks and bring her and her family out of poverty. Doaa went from worrying over how her family would survive to looking toward a brighter future.
